Little Noah

I had the pleasure of taking pictures of the happiest little newborn this weekend. Noah was so great and hardly fussed at all while the mean photographer (that's me) tortured him for an hour! Mommy and daddy were there and I got to take some really cute pictures of their little family. I hope they enjoy this little sneek peek of the tiniest little Utes fan! Zmyslo Family

This Sunday I was overjoyed to photograph the Zmyslo family! There were 17 people in all which is, in short, a night mere to most photographers. But working with this beautiful family was anything but a night mere. The kids were so cute and even though the two younger kiddos weren't thrilled with the idea, I was still able to get some cute shots.

My two favorite shots are the last two I've put in this post. The kiss was completely spontaneous and I love how it turned out! Such a romantic picture of this cute couple of new parents! The slap was priceless! I told the brother and sister I was tired of the posed shots and to do something random. She swung back and whacked her brother!!!! How awesome is that? (Not that I'm promoting brother and sister violence but,...) How many times have I wanted to do that to my brother! :)

Thanks again to the Zmyslo family for inviting me into their home and allowing me to photograph their beautiful family! I'll have your CD of proofs ready for pickup tomorrow.

Kelli Loyd and Family

The Holidays are so much fun for a photographer! You get to see the joy of Christmas in the eyes of little ones and capture themoment in time when families are together again. I had the privilege of meeting this beautiful family the day after Thanksgiving!

Kelli Loyd found me and asked me to take some pictures of her family while they were in town. We wanted to do some lovely outdoor pictures but the weather wasn't cooperating!!! I'm still very excited about how these turned out and I know Kelli's family will love them! I had so much fun editing these and I even made a few custom Christmas cards which I'll blog about later. Brody Is Three!!!

I had so much fun taking pictures of little Brody-man on his third birthday! You probably recognize his beautiful mommy from the tattoo shoot we did together. Courtnie is such a fantastic mom and Brody is total proof of it! What a great time we had taking pictures! Braxton enjoyed playing with his buddy too. :) Here's a few of my favorites for Courtnie to get a peek and I'll have a proof CD for you tomorrow for you to pick out your favorites!

New Business Cards!

I just got my new cards in the mail and I couldn't be happier! My first set of cards were nice but there were very hard to read because I tried to fit everything on the front of the cards. This time I put my contact information on the back and kept the design as simple as possible.

You might recognize the picture on the front as one from the "Father's Day" slide show on my gallery page. Although I don't think this picture isn't one I consider as one of my best works (when it comes to contrast, lighting, etc.), it is a photograph of the most wonderful thing God has ever given me the pleasure of helping create: my beautiful son. I started to have him on my cards in the beginning but wasn't sure if I needed to show everything I was capable of, and I might even change the design down the road, but he will be on there from now on no matter what! I love doing photography, but I am still a mom first!

Baby Dash

I had the pleasure of taking pictures of sweet baby Dash the other day! He is about a week old and so tiny and cute! He wasn't too happy that I wanted to torture him a bit, but all in all he was a pretty good sport! I will take some more pictures when mommy get's a chance to have me over and post them on here.
