Brody Is Three!!!

I had so much fun taking pictures of little Brody-man on his third birthday! You probably recognize his beautiful mommy from the tattoo shoot we did together. Courtnie is such a fantastic mom and Brody is total proof of it! What a great time we had taking pictures! Braxton enjoyed playing with his buddy too. :) Here's a few of my favorites for Courtnie to get a peek and I'll have a proof CD for you tomorrow for you to pick out your favorites!

New Business Cards!

I just got my new cards in the mail and I couldn't be happier! My first set of cards were nice but there were very hard to read because I tried to fit everything on the front of the cards. This time I put my contact information on the back and kept the design as simple as possible.

You might recognize the picture on the front as one from the "Father's Day" slide show on my gallery page. Although I don't think this picture isn't one I consider as one of my best works (when it comes to contrast, lighting, etc.), it is a photograph of the most wonderful thing God has ever given me the pleasure of helping create: my beautiful son. I started to have him on my cards in the beginning but wasn't sure if I needed to show everything I was capable of, and I might even change the design down the road, but he will be on there from now on no matter what! I love doing photography, but I am still a mom first!

Look for the new cards in the area!!!

Baby Dash

I had the pleasure of taking pictures of sweet baby Dash the other day! He is about a week old and so tiny and cute! He wasn't too happy that I wanted to torture him a bit, but all in all he was a pretty good sport! I will take some more pictures when mommy get's a chance to have me over and post them on here. Welcome to our world little man!

Lori and Taylor

I had so much fun the other day taking some fun pictures of my friend Lori and her beautiful daughter, Taylor. Lori is a wonderful realtor who is helping me and my husband find a home here in Utah. She asked me to take some cute pictures of her and her daughter for some great Christmas cards and a few business shots for her cards. I hope they enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Weston's One Year Photos!

I had the privilege of taking the one-year photos of my dear little Weston this week. Our friends Jake and Jen have two adorable little boys, which I'm sure you'll see lots of, and I get to take their pictures! Weston just started walking so getting him to actually stand still for more than a second was a job all by itself! He kept trying to ditch mom and "Aunt Kira" to go explore on his own! Thanks to Jake and Jen for letting me take pictures of such a dashing little model! I can't wait to do some fall pictures of him and his brother Hunter!

Two girls and a whole lotta fun!

This past Saturday I had a fun shoot with a couple of BEAUTIFUL girls! Courtnie wanted some professional shots of her incredible tattoos and Malissa wanted to do some boudoir pictures for her husband as an anniversary gift! We took a TON of pictures and even had an "In and Out" break in between. :) I'm very excited about how well the pictures turned out and I hope they are EXACTLY what the girls were hoping for! Malissa's husband is going to go crazy when he watches the sexy dvd I want to put together for her and I hope Courtnie falls in love with the pictures of her body art that is so meaningful to her. If anyone is thinking of doing a special gift for their special someone, let me know and I can show you some of the pictures in private since I can't post them all. ;-) Thank you girls for the opportunity that was so much fun!

Lots of Kiddos and Beautiful Sunshine!

Last Friday I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family. I was extremely nervous when I learned there would be fifteen kids plus five sisters (the moms of the group)!!! To my relief, the kids were so patient and willing to follow my requests that I got some incredible pictures of the bunch and a lot of individual shots for their moms. My favorite pictures out of them all have to be the ones I took of the five sisters on the monkey bars! They were so cute with their sunglasses and I had this overwhelming desire to run away to a playground when I was editing them because they made it look like such a great time. I had such a great time working with this family and I hope they enjoy these pictures of their kiddos and remember what a fun afternoon we had because I had a blast!
